Below is a list of "Frequently Asked Questions" (I get these all the time):

Yo Doren, Are you out of your f*cking mind?

Maybe a little. Maybe a lot. Aren't we all?

OK then,.. uh, why do you do this?

This one I really do get asked all the time. And it's not for the reasons you might think. It's not at all about "thrill seeking." Heck, I don't even like roller coasters. But It can be exciting.

For me chasing brings together a number if interests and activities that I truly enjoy. Travel, technology, photography, strategy, adventure and immersive sensory experience. Above all I am attracted to the complexity and beauty of dynamic systems. Forecasting tornadic events is an art form. And I will freely admit that I am an amateur hack. But I learn more every year and love every lesson. Even the "busts."

Do you do this professionally?

Uh, no. If you are looking for a pro I can recommend some of the best.

Are your images/videos for sale?

Yes. Contact me.

Who do you chase with? And Can I come along?

My primary chase partner is Joel Ewing (my cousin) out of Tucson AZ. He's the guy that got me hooked. He's been doing it for years. Whenever possible we also enjoy chasing with our friend Warren.

Yes but can I come along?

Mmmm... love to have you but no. The rig is full and you'd probably hate it anyway.

How did you do that Gallery?

I based the code on a script called "Gallery Thingie." I hacked the daylights out of it so the presentation is nothing like the original. But I have to give mad props to the kid who wrote it. He's brilliant. Please visit his site. Better yet, hire him.

Can you help me with my Web Site?

That is what I do professionally (aside from music). And I'm not cheap. Though you probably wouldn't know it from this site (I hacked it together quickly getting ready for Chase '05). I spend a lot of time doing web stuff for a living. The last thing I feel like doing off hours is doing more of it. The Cobler's kids have no shoes and all of that...

If you are looking for freebie I can't help you. (You wouldn't ask a carpenter to build you a garage for free would you?). Time permitting I am always happy to to offer ideas and advice. Feel free to Contact me. I love this stuff.

Gibson or Fender?

Fender. Asolutely. And PRS, and Parker... :-)

When are you comming to play in Brazil?

God Bless the internet. I do get this question from time to time. More than I ever imagined. From Italy too. Not anytime soon I'm afraid.

Where are you playing next?

The band I work with most these days is called Bang Box. I'm taking chase season off so if they don't fire me I'll be back working with the fellas in Mid june. Check our schedule.

Thanks for visiting.
